I’ve had this constant jumpy stomach all week – the result of stress, over-excitement and wondering how on earth I’m going to get through everything. This time next week Mathew and I will be waking up in Hong Kong, the New York of the East, and I absolutely cannot wait to get on that plane – providing there’s no turbulence, I just don’t cope well with it at all. But before then, officially starting tomorrow is New Zealand Fashion Week. Woooohoooo.
Fashion Week, and all the festivities that come with it, means that I’ll be updating a lot more frequently with my trusty new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. It’s been a breeze to use so far. I’m usually a late adopter in the technology realm – I think this is the first time I’ve ever had the latest gadget immediately after it’s release.
The goodie bags (above) are for the Kagi Jewellery show I’m working on. I’ve sourced some fabulous products for all of our guests. We had a rehearsal this morning at the Viaduct Events Centre and it made me super excited. Tune into Breakfast in the morning for a snapshot of the show.
Breakfast at Rosehip with coffee (above) always helps during busy periods, as do early nights when possible. Apparently my favourite cafe chain (Rosehip and co.) are opening up in Britomart and St Heliers – music to my ears, as the CBD is limited with the good coffee spots on the weekend. It’s pretty much ghost town all round.
So the Fashion Week opening party is tomorrow night and I’ve got my sparkly Ruby number ready to go. Aside from that, I’m somewhat ill prepared for the pending week wardrobe-wise. Better hop to it.
