TULUM

Located on Mexico’s east coast, the eco-friendly beachside area was once home to the ancient Mayan people (300 – 900 CE) – purveyors of the belief that the world would end in 2012. Crumbling temples, columns and hieroglyphs act as Mayan memoirs and are key attractions for first-timers.

Tulum was definitely one of my favourite destinations in North America – a must-visit for any Mexican itinerary.
